Lector - Proclaiming the Word is another vital ministry of the liturgy.  One who proclaims the Word takes on more than just reading.  A lector should take time to study the Scripture and pray with the meaning before trying to convey the message of the words given to us from the writers of the books of the Bible.  This ministry requires one to attend a training session, be in good standing with the Sacraments of the Catholic Church, and live the Gospel values. 

Commentator - Announcements before Mass and reading the Prayers of the Faithful during Mass.
